Unpacked most of my gear. Still can't shake the feeling that someone's been here recently. Not just the bootprint outside.Inside the main bunk module, I did a full check of the lockers. Each one is numbered. Mine's still empty, clean. But the one beside it—Locker 3—had a toothbrush.
Still wet.
I opened the waste bin and found two ration wrappers that expire next month. I checked the official logs. Last recorded supply drop: February. Three months ago.
No one's scheduled to be here but me.
So either someone didn't log out properly…
or they're still here.
Did a basic inventory sweep to compare to the listed manifest. Here's what doesn't line up:
- 3 thermal blankets unaccounted for
- 1 emergency parka missing from the drying rack
- food reserves for one person should total 90 units (3 per day × 30 days). Current count: 73.
That's seventeen gone.
I also found a coat tucked behind the tool cabinet.
Not government issue. Looks handmade—thick stitched caribou hide, old-style. It smelled like… cedar and animal fat. Real insulation, not synthetic.
There's something carved into the bone toggle.
I think it's a raven.
I left it where it was.
Still no radio response. The signal hisses every time I try to broadcast. It's not the gear. Everything else is functioning.
When I asked the base station for weather telemetry, the response I got was:
"Signal acknowledged. Please repeat identification."
I hadn't given it yet.
It asked again:
"Who are you?"
I'm going to start logging everything—even small things.
If I'm overreacting, I'll be glad to have a record.
If I'm not…
…I want something left behind.
